People take so much pride in being right. Not just in an I-told-you-so way, but in an I-got-the-right-answer-and-you-didn’t way. In school, we memorize textbooks, functions, and formulas. In the business world we apply frameworks, plans, and best-practices. In relationships and love… well, that’s usually where ‘rightness’ falls apart, because Love and relationships, as it were, remain the only things universally agreed on which defy reason; the only things left we dare acknowledge as supernatural.
